We welcome applications from pupils of independent and maintained schools.
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of the scholarship exams held each year.
Foundation bursaries may be awarded on a means-tested basis to pupils who qualify for entrance.
For Year 7-10
Either by the annual Scholarship/Entrance exam and interview, held every November,
or by entrance test and interview, held throughout the year.
Year 12 (6th form)
Either by the annual Scholarship exam and interview, held every November, plus GCSE results,
Or on the basis of GCSE results and interview.
Results
Results are notified to candidates within two weeks of their exam.
