We welcome applications from students of independent and maintained schools. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of the scholarship examinations held each year. Foundation bursaries may be awarded on a means-tested basis to students who qualify for entrance.
For Year 7-10
Either by the annual scholarship/entrance examination and interview, held every November, or by our own entrance test and interview, held regularly throughout the year.
Year 11
Please contact the school for further advice. A limited number of students are admitted each year.
Year 12
Either by the annual scholarship examination and interview, held every November, plus GCSE results or on the basis of GCSE results and interview.
Results
Results are notified to candidates within 7 days of the examination.
