Buckingham raises £1500 for charity

On a fine Saturday morning in late November, a group of teachers and students walked a distance of nine miles from Chesham to Little Chalfont. The 9 mile stroll proved very worthwhile, as it produced £1500 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

A tasty £415

A further £415 for the Haiti disaster appeal was collected by baking some cakes and selling them. The three organisers, Reion, Rahul and Viren (pictured below) said: "This was a magnificent achievement and an excellent experience for the three of us. We really enjoyed raising the money towards the Haiti cause and would be delighted to do it again"
